The McQuitty's

One of our favorite nurses Jane came in to visit. She removed the drain tube out of Brody's head and then had to put wrap on to hold the gauze in place. We can't decide if he lookes like Karate Kid, and indian, or a ninja. Either way we still think he is cute. Once the bleeding stopped we could remove the wrap. Aunt Chelle was heading back home to her family and Uncle Brett had to get back to Goodland for work so they got one last squeeze in before leaving.
Daddy got Brody a police man build a bear from Bass Pro. Josh had stuffing flying at him from all directions trying to make the bear, but it was well worth it. Brody also received a Rocking Horse from Joe and Martha, his day care providers. Brody absolutely loves them. He has already had his first ride and didn't even get bucked off.
We had Christmas with Susan, Brett, and Nichole before heading to Denver for Brody's surgery. Brody hung out with Nichole for several minutes. Nichole said it was a milestone because usually he cries when she holds him. Uncle Brett (Uncle Monkey as Brody knows him) dressed up as Santa Claus and Brody was his elf helper. We had so much fun. Lots of laughs. Thanks Grandma Susan for the elf outfit.
We were supposed to have the whole family home for Thanksgiving, but Michelle ended up having surgery, Adam got sick, Josh had to work...so it was just Brody and I at mom and dad's house. Brody was making grandpa's arms tired by bouncing up and down. He and Grandma were having a contest to see who could stick their tongue out farther.

We came out to Denver on Monday November 15th so Josh and I could give blood for Brody's surgery on Thursday November 18th. We stayed with Aunt Chelle, Uncle Rhett, Raly, Reese, and Jack. Brody's cousin Jack is two months younger, but weighs one pound more than Brody. Raly loves to take care of the boys.
